Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Deep golden amber with a loose, scummy looking, cream head; and a sweet, fruity, malt aroma; the flavour has sweet jammy fruits and some toffee, followed by a herbal bitterness; giving a long, slightly sour, finish. A very tasty bitter.

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green - 29/12/12. Very lightly hazed pale golden with a thin white head that retains well. Nose is pale malt, light hops, orange tones. Taste comprises pale malt, caramel notes, fruits. Medium bodied with soft carbonation leading to a bitter finish, Ok drinkable bitter.

Cask at the Grafton, London on 7th December 2012. Clear copper with vanishing head. malty and fruity aroma. Fruit and malt in-mouth with herbs. Leafy finish with a somewhat unwelcome note of furniture polish. Zingy mouthfeel.

Cask at The Grafton, London. Pours clear, red-gold with a weak, white foam head. Toasted bread and caramel on the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor with some plastic, bitter leaves, dry caramel. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet finish with dirty leaves, a bit more plastic, dry and toasty caramel. Average at best; although, I don’t think this beer is in top form.
