Pours a clear amber with moderate sized white head, nice retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel, some sweetness, hay and metal. Taste of caramel, banana, malt and grassy hops. Just tastes stale to me, not very tasty at all. Medium bodied, slightly cloying maltiness. Poor show by Waitrose.

Bottle from Waitrose, West Byfleet. Aroma is sweet and fruity with some pine. Sickly. Copper gold. Thin frothy translucent white head. Light-medium bitter. Underlying sugary sweetness and doughy malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Overly sweet stuff. An English IPA or ESB? Dury's out.

Bottle. Amber in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head and moderate carbonation. Sweetish, digestive malts, a touch of leafy hop, slight toastiness and some caramel, before a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Bottle from Waitrose, Manchester Piccadilly Station. Clear pale ale with a small head. Full-bodied in its style with a light dryness and bittering hops that produce a light to medium bitterness.

Flaskenfra Waitrose, Finchley, delt med Steven: klar dypmgylden med fint skum. Typisk engelsk aroma og smak preget av bitter (engelsk) appelsinmarmelade og litt gress. Balansert og lettdrikkelig.
