On tap at The Sunflower, Belfast. Somewhat hazy deep golden to amber with a rather dense, off-white head. Mild malty and slightly fruity with hints of bitter herbs. Moderate sweet with fairly mild grainy flavours and a medium bitter finish. Feels a bit watery and not very exciting, but fair enough.

Amber and a touch hazy. Aroma has a fresh, earthy hop character and slightly sweet, biscuity malt. Not bad beer, though none of the elements are particularly assertive.

On tap @ the Haymarket. This was a good balanced bitter - enough malt to balance out the hop bitterness but not one of those sweet and cloying bitters you can often get.

Cask at The Bear (JDW), Maidenhead. An attractive copper colour with a tight cream head; hedgerow fruit aroma; sour grainy body, strange but moreish; then a nettley, herbal bitterness with lingering sour malts and grass. Rather unusual and challenging.

Cask at Tanners Hall JDW Darlington. Clear copper-brown amber colour, off-white head leaving some lacing and malt, fruity aroma. Malty taste with caramel, toffee, slight roasted, coffee notes and a hoppy, spicy bitterness. Smooth mouth feel, medium bodied, quite OK.
