Cask, half-pint at my local Wetherspoons on 6th Nov 2014. Poured a hazy golden amber, minimal, thin head. The aroma was fairly sweet with fruit like esters blending with the wheatiness. Taste followed the same lines, sweet fruity brew with slight citrus hints towards the end of each sip. I liked this, my sweet tooth coming to the fore.

Cask at the moon under water Watford. Yay! A herts beer. Clouded dull orange coloured pour with a thin white head. Aroma is stale doughy wheat, ginger and some orange peel. Flavour is composed of cardamon, orange peel, doughy bready malts. All a bit dull. Palate is semi sweet, doughy, flabby and moderate carbonation. OK but I’m really not sure what they were going for.

Cask at the Victoria Station Spoons - London. Pours cloudy yellow-gold with a creamy white head. The nose holds grainy pale malts, dirty heat, hay, some rindy orange. Light-medium sweet flavor with doughy and grainy bread, toasted sugars, slight earthy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Somewhat interesting to finish with lightly oily hops, more rindy citrus, some pine, earth, dirty hay and grainy bread. A bit muted but decent. Fair.

Cask @ The Waterhouse, Manchester. Cloudy pale orange with small creamy head. Has a fruity-berry sweetness in its nose, which is slightly less stated in its taste which has some tanginess. There’s a little bit of wheat but not much.

Cask handpull at Lord Moon of the Mall Spoons. Cloudy gold lasting near white head. Ok wheat ale. Not like a hefe no real esters. Mostly lemon and cereal on the flavour. Ok condition. Some light hop on the finish. Fine if a little un challenging. Ok.

Tried at the royal hop pole Twekesbury. Pale golden and hazy ( as the name suggests) colour with a white head. Aroma has citrus hops and wheat, the taste is the same, with a slight bitter finish.
