Cask @ Percy Shaw, Halifax. Clear brown-bronze in colour with a creamy head. There’s hops in the aroma but it’s more malty and bitter in its tastes.

Cask at the Willow Walk, JDW - London. Pours clear, ruby-gold with a weak, creamy head. Nicely layered fruits in the nose, some berries, apricot, cerries and bread. Light medium sweet flavor continued fruit complexity, a bit more bready malts, touches of toffee, husky grains. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation; well conditioned. Nicely balanced on the finish with grainy toast, dried berries, faint leather, honey. Pretty impressed with this one.
