Poured from a 16 oz can dated June 17, 2024. Aroma is dank and resinous, but it also contains a lot of gooseberry, passion fruit and tropical citrus notes. Light cracker malt notes and light alcohol notes. Pours a clear, brilliant, yellow-gold with a medium large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers in clumps on the edges. Flavor is slightly sweet with medium light cracker malt notes. Medium high bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong dank, resin and ruby red grapefruit notes with lighter notes of pineapple, tropical citrus, berry and passion fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid pale ale. I really like the hop notes in the aroma, but wish the hops in the flavor were a touch more on the fruity side. Alcohol and malt notes are well balanced; a very enjoyable beer.

The beer is a medium to light yellow. Very hazy, nearly opaque. Medium sized white head. Lots of lacing. The aroma is kiwi, pineapple, mango, tangerine, lime. Quite sweet and fairly floral, sorta juicy. Light crackery malt well in the background. Taste is moderately bitter and quite dry. Lots of nice hop flavor comes through. Some nice citrus rind bitterness in the finish. Light feel. Little bit of chalky mineral edge to it. Good stuff.

Level 42 Tasting. Big cheers to Fergus for hauling this one back. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy with good fine carbonation. Very light malts, a little creamy sweetness. Hops start mildly skunky, a smooth skunk. Mild pine and then a resinouns pineapple led tropical fruit mid. Pine becomes a mildly minty cool before a light finish. Delicious. Ronnie James Dio belts the song out in my head.

On tap at Caps & Taps. It pours a very hazy pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma has some potent citrus, grapefruit, orange, grass, a little weed and hints of passionfruit. The flavor is the same. Tons of grassy tropical and dank hops. Strong, grassy bitterness. A little bit of astringency in the finish due to the heavy dry hopping takes this one down a notch, but the hop character is out of this world. --- Beer merged from original tick of Neon Lights on 31 Oct 2016 at 08:20 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 9. Original review text: On tap at Good Karma. It pours a pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma is potent with tropical fruit basket. Blueberry, guava and papaya. The flavor has some snappy, zesty lime, creamy mango and a good baked bread malty backbone. Maybe a touch of rye malt with some light spicy bitterness. Big time fruity hop profile with a more complex base malt character than usual from these guys. Real nice.

Growler shared on the 42nd floor - many thanks to Fergus. Pours unclear yellow-gold with a frothy white head. Nice pissy hops in the nose, grapefruit, biscuits, lemon rind. Medium sweet flavor with good pale bread base, more pee, melon, grapefruit. Light bodied, airy, with fine carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, with light bitterness, more citrus, grapefruit, light grass. Outrageously drinkable.

Growler big thanks to Leighton. It pours lightly hazy bright yellow with a medium white head. The nose is fresh, juicy, dank grassy action, straw, passion fruit, mango, tangerine and some fruit pie. The taste is crisp, bitter, straw, grass, touch of dankness, orange peel tangerine, pine colada, white bread with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Well rounded and juicy. Refreshing.

Keg at the brewery. Hazed bright yellow coloured pour with a lasting white sticky head. Aroma is big dank hop, diesel, nelson sauvin, tarmac. Flavour is composed of big juicy citrus, dank, little grassy, faint tangerine. Palate is semi sweet, medium rounded body, highish carbonation and a little hop resin. Very good indeed.
