Brewdog Shepherds Bush. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is light, dry and mildly crisp. Thin but reasonably rich dark malts. Light roast bitterness and mild coffee. Light airy finish. Clean and crisp but ultimately just another Porter.

Keg at BD CJ. It pours darkest brown-black with a small beige head. The nose is earthy roast, earth, liquorice, sweet milk chocolate, toasty, figgy pudding and light spice. The taste is bitter - sweet, dark fruits, fruit cake, toasty action, light jam, mild acidity, earth and some spice with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty good balance all-round.

Keg at BrewDog Shoreditch - London. Pours deep brown with a creamy tan head. Pleasant toasted malts and cocoa in the nose, hints of coffee. Medium sweet flavor with dry chocolate, very mellow chilli spice, mild earthy bitterness. Medium bodied within me to average carbonation. Lightly warming in the finish, some leathery fruits, cocoa, earth. Tasty enough.
