Bottle. Color: Orange amber, off-white head. Aroma: Sweet and sour, fruity, Brett hints. Taste: Orange juice, floral hop, subtle funky Brett notes, flowery notes. Medium sour, moderate to medium sweet, moderate bitter. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Sourish orange juice finish. Ok Saison but a bit too much orange juice-like in my opinion.

Medium, dense, cream-white head over lazily bubbled clear metallic copper-golden beer. Lightly sourish, fruity and flowery nose, notes of orange(peel), green wood, herbs. And the Brett covertly starts showing itself already. Seriously sourish, lactic acid, Brett, old rags, oxydation, old cookies, lemon, mandora. Tart, near astringent, dry-out effect, yet some slickness backthroat. If somebody had told me gorse is supposed to be edible.... %pre importantly, I’m less and less convinced Brettanomyces can stand on its own. Wild fermentation needs the lambic-like cascade effect to bring out the incomparable results, the Bretts forming the last stage only.

Bottle at Ratebeer Best. Pours a hazy gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is strong brett, funk, citrus, floral. Medium body, similar flavors to nose, light finish, very good.

750ml cork and caged bottle between five at the December 2016 Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting in Chez Sophie. Cheers Mike for this offering. Slight haze to the golden/amber body, weak, wispy white head. Acidic fruity aroma, taste follows same lines: mixed fruit basket of rotting tropical stuff such as pineapples and oranges. Not really my thing, but I did enjoy my portion.
