On 23rd Jan 2020 I decided to change all my 34 'ticks' for no-beers into rates. Every 'tick' scored a '3', this will not change as they become 'rates'. My 'ticks' were Ciders, Meads, Perrys and Sake. This is a cider!

On cask at the Haymarket Bar. Appearance - pale yellow. Thin head. Light carbonation. Nose - apple skin and some sweet apple note too. Taste - another mix of sweet and dry apple. Palate - light bodied dry then sweet finish. Overall - a solid citizen.

BIAB at Tanners Hall JDW Darlington. Hazy pale yellow gold colour, no head and tangy apple aroma. Taste is apple, alittle apple skin, fruity, tart, with oak, barnyard and drying tannins. Light bodied, low carbonation, dry tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

Cask @ Hunters Inn, Parracombe. Very pale yellow coloured cider. Has a lovely palatable light texture with a mild fizz and smoothness to it. It’s apple is more stated in its nose, but there’s enough in its taste to enjoy, with a lingering dryness of the fruit in the palate.
