Draft at Craft 100 Spring 2016 - Craft Beer Co. Clapham, London. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a faint white head. Bland aroma, just a little grass and hay. Medium sweet flavour, sugary, with white bread, hay and dough. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with notes of ripe lemon, pale bread and lightly bitter straw. Just OK.

Craft 100 at Craft Clapham. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, no real head. Palate is light and semi dry with low carbonation. Reasonable malt base. Mild floral mid. Whisper of citric hop. Light semi dry finish. Many of the cask beers at this fest have been in tip top condition, this one at the other end of the spectrum. Tired and flat.

Cask gravity at Craft 100. It pours clear amber with a small, bubbly white head. The aroma is quite soft, grainy, honey, floral and dull orange peel. The taste is crisp, bitter, floral, grainy, white bread, cereal and some soapy peel. Finish is dryish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A fairly standard golden ale by all accords. Meh.

Cask half-pint in The Station, Oakengates Shropshire on 17th March 2016. Light golden body, clean and clear, on top a white fluffy head that left lacing as the beer level sank. Malty lead with a fruity hop bitterness, semi-sweet overall and very drinkable, my sweet tooth picking up the light malts straight away.
