Our bokbier that rings in the autumn every year. Dark and full-bodied, but not as sweet as you would expect. The fine, light brown head holds for a long time while the dark, black-brown beer releases the aromas of the roasted malt: brown sugar, caramel and beautiful, dark fruit. The aftertaste is pleasantly dry.

Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting. Clear brown colour, off-white head. Malty aroma, notes of caramel, but more dryish and "dusty" than expected. Malty and bready flavour with some caramel, but not too sweet.

Bottle at home. Near clear chestnut brown with offwhite head. Sweet roasted malts, dry malts, barley, brown sugar, toffee, some spices, licorice, wood, mineral water, light milky. Over medium sweet, and under medium bitter. Medium body, very crisp. Like a heavy malty coca cola drank from a wooden cup.
