16oz can pours a hazy garnet amber with a faint ring of white head. Nose has red grapefruit, white berry, some pomegranate, some lambrusco. Flavor has more lambrusco, blood orange, some muddled tart berry. Finishes tannic and tart.

Can sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Stas & Max. Hazy amber. Funk, caramel, a bit of balsamic vinegar, berries, sweetish and tart. Medium-bodied.

Bottleshare at Matteo’s. Thanks to Colin for the can. Lightly hazy amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry with decent fine carbonation. Light malts. A nice oaky sweetness balances the Flemish red sourness. Touch of vanilla. Light sour fruity finish. Nice.

Can. Rich amber beer with a low dark cream head. Tart/light sour aroma with light acetic notes and light fruitiness. Sour and light pomegranate flavor with light acetic notes. Medium bodied. Sourness and light raspberry lingers with light acetic notes.

Bottle shared at the inaugural Matteo tasting, 31/10/2016. Many thanks to Colin for this one. A reddy amber coloured pour with a fine off white head. Aroma is sour red berry, lacto, brown sugars, plum, raspberry, plum. Flavour is composed jammy plum, sour, raspberry, brown sugars. Palate is sweet and sour, highish carbonation,

Can shared in London - cheers to Cloin. Pours unclear ruby-red with a creamy topping. Tart and leathery, berries in the nose, some earth. Light to medium sweet flavour with nice jammy citrus, some damp wood, earth, leather. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with lots of tart, jammy berries, light woody dryness, grapes. Good depth. Solid beer.

Can at Matteo abode, from CPH, 31/10/16. Red with a light crimson cap. Nose is pissy red berry, straw, damp hay, funk. Taste comprises red berry funk, red grape, light oak, spice, nutty, mellow tarte fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent easy drinker for the style, subtle sour edge, well nuanced.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen (13/08/2016 Colin visit Day2) - pours reddish dark brown with beige head. Malty and fruity with notes of pomegranate and raspberry, medium sour, palate, some wooden nuance in the finish.

Tap @ Mig & Ølsnedkeren. Hazy brown with a lasting beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, sour fruit, wood and raspberries. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate acidic. Dry and moderate acidic finish. 010916
