Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers GB. Aroma of raspberry summer fruits squash and pear. Flavour is of summer fruits squash and not really a lot else. Very smooth and limited carbonation. I like it.

9/6/2021. From BIAB at the Dove Street Inn, Ipswich. Pours clear reddish bronze with no head. Aroma of stewed and tinned raspberry, baked pear, touch of toffee. Medium plus sweetness with a light raspberry tart edge. Moderate body, low carbonation. Sweet sugary artificial cordial finish. Nice aroma and started ok but soon waned.

(Cask at Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London, 21 Nov 2019) Dark reddish amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of raspberries, dark fruit and a touch of toffee. Fruity, sweet taste with raspberries, blackberries, caramel and pears. Medium body, quite sweet. On the sweet side, but with a good fruit character. Quite nice.

Draught at Quakerhouse, Darlington. Reddish orangey-pink colour, thin white foam head and raspberry flavouring aroma. Taste is sweet, raspberry flavour, cordial-like, lifesavers, slightly tart with tropical and citrusy notes. Syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, sweet finish. Kind of OK but far too sweet

On draught at the Loaded Dog, Leicester. A translucent pink, hazy. Sweet taste of sugary raspberry. Tastes like raspberry syrup, not getting a lot of pear. Children's medicine flavour. It's nicely carbonated though a has a pleasant syrupy mouthfeel. Not a great perry by any standard but wonderfully enjoyable.

Oh my godness. Far to sweet and really unfresh. Tons of pear and raspberry. No good mix.

Box @ Stratford Alehouse. Pours a hazy pinkish purple. Fruity berry-like aroma. Taste has no perry characteristics.. it’s a still, fruity drink with a bit of alcohol in I guess. Does have some Robinsons pear and raspberry cordial notes to it. Harmless enough, and quenched our thirst after a walk round Shakespeare’s home-town.
