Bag in a box at County Hotel JDW Ashford. Clear mid brown colour no head. Sweet. Sweet rum and raisin flavour. Too sweet for me. OK just a bit too sweet and cloying.

Bladder bag at the 30th Tamworth Beer Festival, Assembly Rooms, 06/09/24.
Golden to light amber with a thin off white head.
Nose is caramelised apples, herb, straw.
Taste comprises sweet apple pulp, hint of rum, vinous, dried fruit rinds.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close.
Fine.

Cask at the Queens Head, Stourbridge. Pours gold with zero carbonation. Aroma is sweet rum and raisin. Taste is very sweet, rum, raisin and apple throughout. Diabetes.

Cask@Market Porter - golden pour with white head. Very sweet Apple fruity and picking up the rum and raisin accents in this, gives a boozy warming edge into the close. Interesting but couldn't drink more than a half of this.

Box @ Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Clear golden and the rum hits you immediately, although fruit elements are found behind this - the former remains dominant though, especially in its nose.

Draught at Bishops Mill Durham, JDW cider fest 2017. Golden colour, no head and mellow vinegary apple aroma. Taste is sweet, apple, rum and raisin, with some caramel, plastic and slight biscuit note. Syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet finish. OK, very sweet.

Cask at the Carron works. Pours clear golden, nose is rum, solvent, apple, taste is very sweet, raisin, burnt rubber finish. 2.6 Cask at the caley picture house, more of the rum and raisin, less of the horrible rubber and glue. 3.1

Box @ JDW Shrewsbury Hotel. Pours clear gold with a strong boozy rum-like liqueur and cassonade aroma. Taste presents an overpowering rum and raisin sweetness that’s a little cloying. Really struggled past a single sip with this one.

Cask at the moon under water Watford Jdw. A clear golden coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is sweet raisin oak, woody cider apple, sticky brown sugars. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, sticky brown sugars toffee apple, little soapy. Palate is is super sweet, sticky apple, lowish carbonation.. Too sweet.
