Cloudy pale amber colour, tall frothy off-white to beige head, half-way lasting, fair lacing. Aroma brett, light vinegar, goose berries, wood. Taste light sweet and medium sour, woody, fruity notes. Lingering dry sour and sweet aftertaste, wood, lemon peel, chalky. Medium body, watery texture, average carbonation. Don't get the brown ale base but quite nice as a sour ale.

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours a clear amber, thin off-white ring circling the top. Aroma of prickly brett, wood. Palatte is perhaps a little flatter than I imagined but its a good combination of flavours, the sharp brett bonding with the woody whisky to punch through the brown ale base effectively. More carbonation and this is a winner for me.

Bottleshare at Chez Smith. Thanks to Dan. Lightly hazy amber beer, thin and short lived cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Nice light gueuzey vibe. Mild floral lemon and a touch of crystallised fruits. Mild red wine. Light finish. Tasty but quite amusing how none of this breweries beers are the style they say they are.

Bottle shared in London / thanks to Daniel. Pours lightly unclear orange gold with a faint, creamy, head. The aroma holds tangy berries, ripe citrus, a little funk. Light sweet flavour with some farmy-poopy funk, some lemon rind, straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Woody dryness in the finish, some lemon peel, a little musty funk. Not bad.

Bottle split at New Bespine, thanks to Daniel, 27/03/17. Golden brown with a light hazed ... off white head dissipates to not so much in a few moments. Nose is funky wood, light brett, spice, wood must, brown bread, damp straw, biscuit. Taste comprises light funk, dark fruit rinds, diaper notes, straw, brown bread, light spice, funk. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Ok simple-ish sour.

Bottle thanks to Danny. It pours clear deep amber with minimal head. The aroma is earthy, musty, funky, barnyard, white grape, gooseberry, Granny Smith apple, sherbet, vanilla and sour candy. The taste is dry, woody, earthy, tangy, sour fruits, leather, funky, dirt, muddy, spice and a touch of vanilla with a slick, oily finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and oily mouth - feel. Aromanis quite nice, but taste is a bit muddled.
