Hackney Bottleshare. Thanks to Scopey. Light haze on this amber beer, good cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft fluffy malts, creamy sweet with toffee and caramel. Light spice. Modest dried fruits. Smooth sweet finish. Tidy brown.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Paul. Pours clear amber with a tight, creamy off-white head. The nos head some English yeast, lightly toasted brown bread. Light sweet flavour with more brown bread, a little toast, toffee, faint leafy hops. Ligh bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more toasted toffee, mellow leafy bitterness. Not bad overall.

Bottle at LKS. It pours clear reddish brown with a medium beige head. The aroma is earthy, woody, toasted nut, earthy, must, brown bread, leather, bit oxidised and caramel. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, toasted nut, earth, leather, caramel, spice, dried fruits, damp leaves and chewy stuff. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty basic stuff.

Huge thanks to Goran for bringing this from South Africa. Shared with him and Višnja 666. Murky amber, minimal white head. Malty, light fruity, light hoppy, slightly off. No profile, light dry. Medium body, medium carbonation, moderate finish. Nothing special.

Sweet caramel, and delicate balance of floral hop. Slight biscuity notes to the malt. Nice beer.
