Can. Hazy golden colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is grains, some herbs, mild minerals with some hayish tones too. Flavour is grainy, mildly metallic with some minerals, hay and a bit earthy tones too. Not really sure what this was aiming for.

Hackney Bottleshare. Thanks to Wingman for the can. Light haze on this gold beer, good pale cream colour head, Palate is airy and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Somewhat grainy lager malts, dry. A metallic mid and then a dry tangy bitter finish. Not very palatable.

Can at LKS. It pours hazy golden with a medium white head. The aroma is grainy, sweet, cornbread, metallic, wet grass, icing sugar and candy. The taste is dry, crisp, quite metallic, grainy, cereal, old dead malt, spice and earth with a drying finish. Medium body and average, foamy carbonation. A bit grainy and metallic. No good.

Can shared in Hackney - many thanks to Davey. Pours clear yellow-gold with a billowing white head. Big grainy pale malts with nips of lemon peel, cereal. Light sweet flavour with some husky bitterness, dry cereal, faint plastic. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with faint astringency, more pale grains, citrus peel. So so.

Can. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. 100 points! Who’d have thought it? Quite dark gold. Lot of bubbles. Thick, shiny topped, white head. Nose has some floral and woody hop. Cracker biscuit malts. Some toffee. Taste is moderately sweet, with some well balanced, spicy hop bitterness. Decent mouthfeel. Prickly carbonation. Long, light bitter finish. Decent lager.
