See man’s driving a Belgian Wit? Blacked out windows leaning back? A resurrection (of sorts) of a Wit beer brewed in 2017, See man’s is a subtle, soft, spiced and delicious Wit beer brewed with coriander, orange peel, and a good dosing of Amarillo hops. Tied in with a trad Wit yeast - refreshing, effervescent and complex!
ABV varies, seen at 5.1% and 5.4%

Bodney Towers Bottleshare. Thanks to Mr Tips for Can. Light haze on this gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light, dry and has modest fine carbonation. Banana esters and mild spice. Floralness. Touch of cloves. Just a trace of something citric before more banana. Smooth dry finish. Banana and mellow spice linger on. Amusing.

Keg at MS HW, 27/10/17. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a decent off white cap. Nose is melon, light hop tinkle, tangerine, grass, light herb. Taste comprises peach, breads, light spice, tropical fruit medley, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, juicy hop kiss in the close. Decent hoppy take on the style.

Can shared in Hackney - thanks to Tipple. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose has some wheat bread, light yeast, hay, anise. Light sweet flavour with some wheat flakes, hay, white grape. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Sweetish finish, more wheat, white grape, white sugar, minimal bitterness. So so.

Can thanks to Adrian. It pours hazy dirty gold with a small white head. The aroma is quite perfumed, candy, refreshers, pear, apple and spice. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, mellow bitterness, wheat, pear, apple, straw, hay, bit of spice, orange peel, fruity tartness and bread with a dry, sort of grainy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Ok for style.

Can from Beer Gonzo Webshop, Earlsdon, Coventry, consumed at home, Saturday 1st July 2017 Hazy yellow/dirty caramel colour with a white head. A little hoppy on nose when first poured, this soon calms and the Belgian yeast starts to push forward. Nice wheaty and hoppy interplay the orange also shows but less so. This is a good Witbier, really pleasant, Deya really know their onions. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Can. Little Leeds Beer House. Slightly muddy gold. Film and ring of lasting, dirty white head. Nose is big on the vanilla and orange peel. Toasty, buttery malts. There’s a hint of Aqua di Parma about it. Taste is mostly dry, with a touch of spicy hop bitterness. Light body, verges on thin and watery. Spritzy carbonation. Light, estery finish. 8373-14
