Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Unsurprisingly it's a chestnut colour (!) with a thin beige head to cap it off. Roast chestnuts in the flavour too, although possibly milk chocolate is more dominant. There's also toffee and a hint of autumn berries. A slightly powdery mouthfeel was the only downside. It'll be on the sweet side for some but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A dark amber pour with a close cream coloured head; aroma of malt and roast chestnut; taste to match with a smooth grainy body; then a fresh green hop bitterness before a dry nutty finish. A pleasant autumnal pint.
