Can from M&S, Scarborough. Pours clear golden with a short-lived thin white head. Aromas of light corn, faint lemon. Taste is more of the same. Light astringent finish.

44cl can from M&S. Medium creamy white head. Clear golden pour. An average lager

Decent enough lager. Far better than what you get at the pub. Ok balanced sweetness and bitterness. Also a pleasant carbonation level. Malty, mild citric and herbal flavor. [Can from Marks & Spencer at Stansted Airport outside London, England]

500ml can. Pours bright gold with a small head. Aroma is fruity caramel and boiled sweets. Bottled bitter esque. Taste has caramel and orange. Some boiled sweets on the finish. Very malty, sticky mouthfeel. Good winter lager, doubt I'd drink it in the summer. So, on that basis at least, it's British.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at M&S Canary Wharf. Enjoyed whilst watching Ben Affleck in The Accountant. Pours clear honey-gold with a foamy, white head. Lots of grainy malts in here, some crispy cereal, nips of leaves. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with some husky grains, dried bread, hay. So so.

Can. Crystal Peaks. Lol at Dan berating the can design! He has a point. Pale gold. Very light haze, which is a surprise. Thick and bubbly, just off white head. Nose has very sweet, bready grain. Some trace of citrus. Some green leaf. Taste is slightly sweet and malty, with a fair amount of leafy bitterness. Light to medium body. Soft carbonation. A little less clean than you might expect. Feels under attenuated, somewhat. Green leaf bitterness to finish.

Can from Marks & Spencer, Birstall. Paler golden with a frothy-head. Not a typical lager although its styling is still apparent. There's citrus in its nose running alongside lager malt, with a heavier than usual sweetness in its taste, although texture-wise it remains very palatable. There's a tangy-citrus flavour also apparent in its taste.

Can from M&S Oxford Street London and drunk at home Portugal vs Spain. Clear gold colour with lasting white head. Some lager yeast some floral nature. It's a decent premium lager, some decent malt in the mouth, some decent hop and bitterness on the finish. Nothing wrong with it and I thought pretty drinkable.

Can at home picked up from Watford M&S. A clear mid golden coloured pour with a fading sticky white head. Aroma is semi sweet, esters, orange, rind, pale malts, pear, light alcohol. Some new world hops on the nose. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, raw grains, alcohol, spicy grassy hop, light silage, orange,. A little alcohol bite in the finish. Palate is semi sweet, spicy carbonation, prickly finish. Ok.
