Fat på Taps i Uppsala. Mycket knäckebröd och kåda och mängder av apelsinskal och det bittra från grapefrukten. Rätt rejäl hopburn. En gnutta för mycket kolsyra?

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, London, 22 Nov 2017) Golden amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with tea, apricots and toast. Malty, fruity taste with notes of citrus, tea, dried fruit, apricots and a balanced earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a balanced sweetness. Tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

Bottle @ home. Clear orange golden to lightly amber color with a medium sized white head that diminishes quite quickly. Smell and taste malts, floral, blossomy hoppy. I do get a touch of green plants and "dishwasher water", that somewhat artificial scent and flavor. Average body, average carbonation. Meh, disappointing.

Bottle from the Miles Thompson (JDW), Kendal. Golden orange, clear, small ring of white head. Orange peel, Cointreau, peppery spice, a touch of lemongrass in the heady aroma. Bitter taste with a spicy orange sweetness. A medicinal tang near the end of the sip. Apricot brandy notes in the aftertaste. Different than most, pretty tasty.

Keg @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours a generally clear gold, frothy white head. Aroma of a light caramel sweetness, citrus. Taste has a nice hop bite, fairly juicy with marmalade, pine needles, citrus and a nice grapefruit bitterness. Nice.

9th Nov 2016: cask half-pint in The Shrewsbury Hotel (Wetherspoons in Shrewsbury). Golden pour, white head. Hops all the way here, piney, citrusy and resiny at the same time. Nice balance of bitterness and hop managemant: liked it.
