Bottle at home. Hazy dark red almost purple, short lasting and completely disappearing pink head. Sour cherries, cooked cherry deep earthy and fruity sweet notes, light barnyard funk, some hay or grassiness, slight moldiness, thin layer of cellar dust. Moderate sweet and sour, dry earthy bitterness. Medium body, low carbonation. Nice.

Bouteille (vintage 2014): Ruby-amber coloured with a slowly collapsing pinkish head, hazy; moderate to solid dry sour nose of green apples and cherries with an - expected - almondy touch; moderate to solid dry sour flavour with a certain bitterness underneath, light to medium bodied, slightly adstringent MF, but all in all soft; lingering sour cellary and fruity finish with flavours of apples and - quelle surprise - cherries. Pretty good...

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Paul. Very hazy raspberry red beer, a few dark pink bubbles not being a head. Palate is smooth and has decent fine carbonation. Quite a sour beer developing lemon acid. Bitterish red fruits, tastes more like pippy raspberry than cherry! Trace of tangy soap. Light semi dry finish. Awkward and ticking no boxes for me.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Paul. Pours mostly clear blood red with a small, creamy topping. Nice dried berry aroma, cherry, wood, red wine. Light sweet flavour with sturdy acidity, berry pits, dried cherry, good juice. Medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. Clean and very dry in the finish, with more dried cherry, some woody dryness, faint earth, moderate acidity. Great stuff.
