330 mml bottle as part of the European Local Swap 2 2017, many thanks to RW80 for this one. Tasted on the 04/05/2017. Extremely black body with a tan beige head. Aroma of intense roasted malts and bread, dried fruits, cherries and liquorice. Taste is red dried fruits, roasted malts, liquorice and a fruity finish. Medium to intense bitter finish. Next one please!

Tasting glass @ Van Moll. Very dark brown amber, huge creamy tanned head. Nose is wonderful pine, big pine resin huge grapefruit & pine with dark cereal base. Taste is strong bitter pine & grapefruit, really great hops, wondrful bitterness, great balance with chocolate & mocha base (complimentary),... Good malt body, strong bitterness. Really nice BIPA. Top 3 Van Moll beer for me, really excellent, far above their average.

From tap @ Arendsnest, sample size. Black color. Uneven, somewhat frothy light beige head with some lacing. Aroma’s of roasted malts, drop/licorice, resinous hops. Retronasal there’s roast, drop, some sweetness. Flavor is bitter with some dark malty sweetness. Medium bodied. Finishes with ground coffee, bitter and roasted. Nice!

Bottle, courtesy of Summer Santa Benzai. A grass-hoppy IPA with roasted and slightly burnt malts. Deeply bitter. Still quite summery though, medium body with a lively carbonation and a soft texture. Slightly chewy. Long, yet not particularly extreme finish. Very nice.

Cellar clean out session. Hazy deep amber beer, good pale tan head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Pretty mild dark malts, just a touch of roast bitterness. Mild floral bitterness. A pleasant piney tropical fruit sits on top and contrasts nicely. Light semi dry finish. Not bad at all.
