Following the Blond and Brown Bink, the brewery launched a third type of beer: the Blossom Bink, on the occasion of the 50th consacration of the blossoms in 2000! We brew this seasonal beer every year in the same period (spring-summer). The ingredients are: five types of malts, one type of Belgian hops, brewing water, yeast, honey from Sint-Truiden and pear syrup from Vrolingen. It has a fruity taste with a slightly sweet tone and a long fruity and soft bittery aftertaste.

Pours deep amber into a Tumbler. Tan micro head with excellent retention leaves no lacing as it slowly recedes. Pear, date and plum aromas. Crisp upfront, but quickly turns thin..a little too thin. Fruity honeysuckle and pear flavors lead to a medium bitter finish.

Bottle. Cloudy amber / red color with a average frothy fair lacing mostly lasting off-white head. Aroma is light malty and hoppy, moderate pear, caramel, bubble gum, honey. Flavor is moderate to heavy swwet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. Dark copper beer with a beige head. Floral, honey aroma and flavor with caramel malt. Some spices and pear in the flavor as well. Lingering spices and fruit/floral/honey tones. medium body.

0.25l bottle. Hazy dark cherry, low golden brown lacing head. Wooden, honeyish, peppermint, light dusty aroma. Lightbodied, on the fresh side. Swiss herb candy, herbal and old wood finish.

Bottled. Hazy reddish brown colour, not much head. Aroma is sour fruit and slight roasted malts. Flavour is hops, malts and quite earthy. Some strange sweetness also present. Not too pleasant, but managed to hide the alcohol well.

A hazy dark amber beer with a thin light brown head. The aroma is complex with notes of alcohol, prunes, malt, fruit, and caramel. The flavor is sweet and with strong notes of over ripe fruit combined with a light dustyness, leading to a dry very fruity end. The sweetness is a bit cloying.

Hazy reddish brown ale with a thick light moka head. Sweet brown sugar in aroma with notes of milk choclate. Very sweet malt with light hops, fainlty bitter but surprising mix of vanilla and strawberry. Light roasted notes in final. Well balanced between hops and malts. On tap at Bier Circus, May 2005.

Cloudy medium brown with a fairly rich head. Mild chocolate, rose petals, wildflower honey, dates and moon cake in the aroma. Sweet palate with a hint of acidity in the back to cut through and keep it lively. Flavours are subdued relative to the aroma, but still with the date-like, chocolate-accented malts. Well-structured, fairly easy drinking beer.

Cloudy orange-brown body, medium creamy cream-colored head. Chocolatey aroma with caramels and a touch of plum in addition to grapes and breads. Very bready, caramely body with plum and vinous notes, getting sweet and almost syrupy at the finish with a touch of honey. Not a bad beer.
