Bottle at home, 03/07/16. Hazed golden orange with a well appointed off white head. Nose is bitter orange, light plastic strains, toasted bread, tangerine, melon. Taste comprises orange pith, melon, light pine, mango, papaya, aity malts, grapefruit, bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close laced with juicy hop bitterness. Ok IPA - nose lets it down a touch for me though!

Sampled from tap at the Oedipus International Beer Festival 2016. Slightly hazy, golden yellow with a white head. Fruity-grassy aroma of lemon, passion fruit and pineapple. Fruity-grassy, slightly bitter taste of pineapple, lemon and passion fruit, followed by a short, moderately grassy-bitter finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Bottle at home in London - sourced from the brewery. Pours deep, unclear gold with a frothy, off-white head. The nose holds rich, ripe citrus fruits, orange, some melon, papaya, hearty pale bread, a hint of toffee. Medium sweet flavour with more plump, ripe and juicy orange, slight rindy bitterness, a little oily pine, more papaya, sweet bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; could do with a bit more condition. Sweet and subtly resinous to close out, with still more ripe fruits, citrus, bready pale malts, faint toasted sugars, orange rind, pineapple, papaya, melon. Could be a little cleaner, but overall it’s juicy and enjoyable.

Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home. Hazy dark amber brown colour lasting beige head. Toffee led aroma with some citrus hops. Just a bit too much toffee to be honest. Good mouthfeel and some bitterness on the finish. Some ok grapefruit. Just a bit too much toffee for me though.

Keg at the brewery. A translucent golden orange coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is juicy sweet fruits, mango and peach, tangerine and hints of sweet caramel malts. Flavour is composed of semi sweet base grains with a pinch of caramel, juicy mango, tangerine rind, hints of grassy citrus. An assertive hop bitterness in good balance with the rest of the beer. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, rounded body, slightly chewy. Solid IPA.
