Bottle from a gift basket - many thanks! Pours hazy yellow with an unstable, foamy, white head. Aroma of coriander, soap, honey, white bread, cheese, wheat, yellow apple, lemon. Taste has sweetish apple & unripe banana, wheaty, bit soapy edge over spicy coriander. Wheaty & lemony finish, a bit grassy hoppy, more spices & unripe banana. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Plain but fine.

Pours suspiciously clear for a witbier, straw yellow, with a minor sized, low stability white head that had big bubbles, but by the time of writing this one line has already vanished. Scent is citric, milder coriander. dry, with a sharp touch. Taste is sharp, mild acidic touch by the wheat, yet not sour. light bitterness, drying body, not by the absence of Sugars per se ( there is some sweetness ) but more the astrigent side . Medium thin body, medium high to high carbo.

33cl bottle; BB Mar 2022. Drank in the Bier Paleis, Brugge on 3rd Feb 2020. Light haze to the pale body, white crown on top. The nose has a little wheat and coriander coming through, taste similar; refreshing and pleasant without knocking your senses to pieces.

19/XI/19 - 33cl bottle @ HoReCa-Expo Gent, BB: n/a - (2019-1858) Thanks to the brewers and the Ghent Beer Posse for sharing today’s beers!

Practically the same colour as the blonde variety. Clear blond yellow beer, solid creamy irregular white head, stable, non adhesive. Aroma: bit spicy, some orange peel, malty, grains, hay. MF: very lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: pretty sourish, lots of wheat, some orange peel, bitter touch, bit malty. Aftertaste: very soapy, coriander, unpleasant bitterness, grassy, bit lemony, soft bitterness, bit acidic. Half decent.
