33cl bottle. A clear dark reddish brown beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of mid sweet caramelized malt, chocolate, cocoa. Taste of dark roasted malt, sweet chocolate malt, coffee, cookies. Good!

L'intégration de la noix de pécan est sur cette carya, une brown ale, particulièrement réussie. Celle-ci se ressentant sans être prédominante et s'alliant bien aux arômes torréfiés de chocolat et noisette, et ce, sur une bonne complexité. J'ai davantage de réserve sur l'équilibre avec une petite acidité qui dessert la bière et une amertume légèrement herbacée, un peu trop poussée (amertume qui n'est pourtant que de 15 IBU, c'est de fait la base maltée qui est à mon avis un peu légère, la faible corpulence étant un argument allant dans ce sens). L'ensemble reste néanmoins globalement agréable. En verre, beaucoup trop de mousse avec une effervescence trop poussée qui perturbe également la dégustation. Celle-ci, beige, surmonte un joli brun limpide (54 d'EBC). Au nez, nous découvrons des arômes de noisette, chocolat, noix de pécan et de légers arômes de pomme avec une amertume légèrement herbacée et une petite acidité. L'attaque est fraîche, on y retrouve les arômes du nez avec sur base douce reprenant des arômes de banane. La structure est quelque peu déconcertante. En deuxième bouche l'amertume monte d'intensité, et prenant alors trop d'importance. Le final d'une longueur très moyenne présente une petite astringence. Intéressante, dommage que l'ensemble ne soit pas plus abouti.

Clear dark brown beer, huge creamy beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: malty, soft roast, rural character, grains, some chocolate, coffee, little oxidized. MF: very lively carbon, medium body. Taste: nice roast, bit sweet, lots of dark caramel, malty, grains, gentle bitterness. Aftertaste: pretty malty, dry, soft roast, hint of honey, maple, quite some caramel flavours, without being sweet, more soft roast.

Pours dark, yet clear caramelly brown. Small white head with short lifespan. Smell is earhty , dry roastyness, chocolate like aroma. Bit nutty indeed.
Taste is very earthy, bit 'green' coffee, chocolate ( mildly, even hints of bitterness ) not the best Atrium to me.

Murky brown with a fleeting, frothy head. For most of the duration, looks like dirty water. The aroma is the highlight: a mix of pecans, fudge and caramel. Nice. Taste is full of dry, candy sweetness with toffee undertones. I don’t often say this but it feels under-carbonated to me. The body is by no means light, but the texture is watery and the overall feel is lifeless. Overall, a mixed bag.

Flaska från Belgiuminabox. Mahognyfärgad klar vätska med ett medelhögt beige skum som snabbt försvinner. Söt Brown ale i belgisk tappning. Funkar väl så där. Blir mest sirapssött och lite jästmurrigt. Lite för tunn för att bära sötman. Kort eftersmak. Nja.

hazy Brown colour, moderate sized dense, though quickly disappearing beige head; aroma of coffee, milk chocolate or rather nougat, burnt sugar, slight anise and licorice, rye bread, as well as minimal plum jam; taste is basically the same; good one!

Pours hazy brown with a quickly thinning, frothy, tan head. Aroma of pistachio, pecan, hazelnut, mocha, toast, caramel, earth. Taste is light malty sweet, hints of cream & caramel on thick nuttiness, pecan & hazelnut, rather earthy, bitter herbal & coffee-like. Dry, herbal hoppy, woody & nutty finish, vague dried fruit, more earth & leaves. Medium body, creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Bit too dry all in all & not aromatic enough; but Atrium have proven their worth with other beers already.

Zu viel CO2. Weich malzig-nussiger Beginn, etwas trocken, feine Herbe. Cremig, schnell abflachend. Kurzer Abgang. 9/10/9/9//9

09/09/2019 @home - 33cl bottle from Malt Attacks. Cloudy dark brown, small beige head. Nose is dark malts, caramel.. Taste is dark malts, caramel, bit banana. Feels more like a Dubbel, didn't notice pecan.
