[1/31/16] Bottle sample at RateBeer Best festival in Santa Rosa. Hazy golden. Nice aroma of strawberries, lacto, a bit of soap. Sour flavor with strawberries, lacto, vinegar. Medium-bodied. A bit too acidic, but decent.

Bottle - Lots of aromatic perfumy notes. Cloudy pink with a small white head. Very perfumy, light acidic tart notes and mild strawberry. Nice.

Bottle at Centrolina DC pours a hazy pinky amber with some cloudy, white head. Nose has strawberries two ways, earthy strawberry patch and jammy fruit roll up, some grass, perfume, a little lemon, a little yogurt. Flavor is lightly tart with lemon, some white grapefruit too, light strawberry jam, a bit more unripened white strawberry here. Dry finish, lightly tart. Very nicely done.

Bottle from Birrivico, Como; bb 11/2016
Hazy light amber color with small head. Penetrating aroma of barnyard, cellar, and delicate strawberry. Dry mouthfeel, nice lemony sourness, but also a bit of acetone, and juicy fruits.
Satisfying, well made.

Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ “Vini Birre Ribelli 2015”. Clear golden, some bubbles. Nose is hugely fruit, lots of strawberry, light mineral, dash of lemon. Taste is real big strawberry in a harmonious mix of mineral, sugar, candy, lemon, faint vinegar, touch sour notes. Rich, fruity, interesting & harmonious. Light lemony body. Really nice fruit beer / sour.

330 ml bottle from BeerLovers, Vienna.
Amber to copper, hazy body, with a small, creamy, beige head.
Aroma of sweet-sour strawberries, barnyard, young cheese, apples, some candy.
Taste follows this, with some more pears and sour citrus.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes sour, medium dry, with apples, pears, citrus, sour berries.
Very nice. A quite straight sour ale, with well integrated strawberries. Not among my favourite sour beers, but really refreshing and pleasantly fruity.

Keg at CBC Clerkenwell during the Cad’s ten-year shindig. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. Big funk in the nose, lemon, honey, sweat. Light sweet flavor, moderately acetic, dry, woody, with nips of sugary citrus fruits and brett. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet and sour on the finish, with some acetic bite, faint bile, ripe citrus. OK.

330ml bottle @Luppolo Station (Rome). Pours amber with a white and persistent head. Aroma of strawberry, yeasts, mentuccia. Flavour is light sweet with a decent sour fruity end, light vinegar notes. Medium body, medium to light carbonation. Very nice!
