Malt and hops are beautifully married in this full-bodied, copper-red Pale Ale. Red Seal is generously hopped for a long, spicy finish. An excellent accompaniment to grilled meats and rich sauces.

Draft @ Barley Pub. Dover, NH. Served in a pint Pours a copper red, with a tiny white head, light lace. Interesting aroma of honey, bread with some floral hop. Taste was pleasantly hopped with light bitterness. Got some caramel, biscuit, and a big grassy/floral-ness. Makes me think of fresh cut grass or a vegetable like taste. Over all very refreshing and an enjoyable brew.

En standardamerikan som ändå sticker ut något p g a vacker rödbrun färg och fin cascaderom. Måttlig beska. Väldigt drickbar.

On tap at petrol station. Pours a clear amber orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges that laces nicely. Aroma is a combination of city’s and grassy hops with a backbone of sweet grains. Flavor begins with lots of flora and is joined by a bit citrus/grapefruit and a bit of a grain backbone.

Pours dark amber with a large, fading head.Nose shows generous amounts of rich malt and resinous hops. Lots of caramel alongside piney, spicy characters.First impression upon tasting is the full-on, aggressive bitterness. There is some malt that attempts to counter the bitterness but it’s definately a one sided battle. The finish is a bit metallic and some alcohol shows.Carbonation is too high in my opinion.

Had from a bottle poured into a glass in Taiwan. Surprisingly good. Aftertaste especially rich, stays with you long enough to appreciate. Has become one of my favorite American microbrews.

Bottle. Clear amber with an inch of dense white head. Low bead. Aroma of citrus, caramel, nectarines, grass and herbs. Taste has rather plain caramel sweetness and prickly spices with some pine. Modest and brief bitter finish only just overcomes the rather dull malt sweetness. Not much that’s good under the aromatic hops, but they are nice.

0.355l bottle. Pours a cloudy copper body with a solid off white head. Aroma is light fruity and malty with notes of nice hops and thin grapefruit. Body is medium, has a watery to oily texture and it's average carbonated. Malty with some citrus and light fruity flavors. Has a slightly pungent bitter finish and a mild spicy aftertaste. The pungent bitterness got a tad to bitter for my taste, but got quite a lot better when it got some temperature. All in all an absolutely decent APA, but I don't recommend having it straight from the fridge.

Fairly balanced, tasty Red Ale. Yeah, there’s a bitter swipe of hops involved, but the caramel and french toast flavors culled from the malts brace any IBUs with a delicate sweetness. Toss is a mild citrus finish and you’ve got a winning bottle. Plus, the nose is even better, giving a rich malt sweetness with citric hops flitting around the borders. Way too easy to drink. 12 oz bottle into lager glass. Pours a hazy orange with a medium beige head with nice retention; leaves some lace. Aroma is peppery, grainy, spicy, metallic. Taste starts out slightly sweet but turns bitter quickly. Has a nice biscuity flavor. Carbonation is high, body is medium. A very simple, yet very easy-drinking beer.
