Bottle marked best by 7/15/09. Pours with a small, white head over a ghostly pale muddy yellow body. Some lace. Aroma of wheat, dust, honey, banana and vanilla. Taste is Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, wheat, light citrus, light banana, and slightly soggy buttered popcorn. Over carbonated, no body, dry finish.

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 10 March 2009) Slightly hazy, pale yellow colour with brief, white head. Fruity nose with notes of tropical fruit, lemon, hay and a mild wheat character. Fruity, clean taste with citrus, mild wheat flavours and hints of grassy hops in a dry finish. Fairly thin body with spritzy carbonation. Decent but fairly boring. Actually reminds me more of a German pilsener than a hefeweizen.

Bottle. Pours a light and hazy gold with a fluffy white head. Smells like one might expect… kind of a honey & lemon sweetness with a grassy backdrop. Flavor is adequate but not very interesting. There is a bit of a metallic edge to it that is distracting and the traditional hefeweizen flavors are a bit washed out and sweetened up. In summary, it is a pretty boring hefe with a couple of slight defects.

Bottle: Poured a lightly hazy golden color wheat beer with a medium size foamy head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma consists of light wheat malt with no discernable trace of banana or cloves. Taste is also dominated by some weak notes of wheat malt with no discernable ester of banana that I usually appreciated in this style. Quaffable on a hot summer day but not really interesting.

Cloudy straw colour. Very liquoricey nose with some random spices. The palate is rich with anise notes, a slight hint of vanilla and a kiss of pale malt sweetness.

eh. not sure what i expected but i like to try different wheats because i think they are very tasty when done right. this lacked any creativity or uniqueness. reminded me of the usual mass marketed wheat beer. an average beer at best

Aroma of grain and lemon. Milky yellow like a witbier, thin head, some lacing. Tastes of wheat with a lemon kick, very slightly medicinal. Weak hop finish.
