(473ml fresh can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours nearly opaque orange-gold with a decent white head of fine foam leaving lace. Aroma of dank piney mango, pineapple, peach, floral tropical fruit, a bit of green onion and peppery hop spice, clean sweetish pale malt. Flavour is semi-juicy up front with guava, mango, lychee, slight weed, touches of pine and resin but fairly light, core of light biscuit malt with a creamy hint and some estery yeast action, finishing dry and lightly to moderately bitter with citrus zest and a hint of oniony hop burn that would probably fade with less freshness. Medium plus body for the abv with average plus tingling carbonation. For such a widely available IPA from a 'local macro', this is definitely serious juice. Can be a touch hot when young.

Very turbid amber white color. Frothy white head. Very dank, huge over ripe mango and orange juice. The juice is on, on this one. The mouth feel is ok but a bit dead. Low medium bitterness. Palate doesn’t shine as much as the nose, but good mango and gummy bear finish. This is a two month old can. I can imagine super fresh this would rock.

A hazed golden blonde ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with grassy resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice and smooth. Growler from brewery.

Pours a cloudy golden-orange colour with a big foamy head, decent retention with thick foamy lace. Beautiful fresh citrus juices like oranges, grapefruits with hints of pineapples and mangoes. The mouthfeel is not strongly bitter, nor too dry. Just very well-balanced. Flavours of citrus fruits and their peel. Goes down quite nicely and will have again.

Can from KBL. Big, juicy NE nose or orange, peaches, apricots, honey. Cloudy, appetizing deep gold. Great balance, fruity, juicy, orange, grainy wheat, stone fruit, tropical. Nice peppery finish with just the right amount of bitterness. Top notch NE IPA.

473ml can from Peluso Beaubien (4.99$ a can, limited to a six-pack per customer), drunk 5 days after bottling. It pours a cloudy milky gold with a thin fizzy aroma with an orange tint to the head. The aroma is incredibly juicy of with a touch of pine. It is awesome that such a major craft brewery in Quebec does such an insanely solid take on a trendy style.
