Dark golden color with a fine off white head. Pleasant intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation level. Easy to drink. Ok lasting tail and a balanced sweetness/bitterness. Rye, malty, herbal, fruity and some citric notes. Nice tasty beer.

Bottle split at home, thanks to James, 13/02/16. Hazed orange amber with a big ole light beige covering .Nose is pissy citrics, grain, toasted bread, light spice, lemon rind. Taste comprises toasted malt, rye bread, straw, melon, bitter orange, light smoke. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying finale with a light spice base. Ok for style.

Bottle from M&S Stratford and drunk at home. Amber slight haze lasting white head. A little fuller in the mouth with the rye, some spiciness, that rye flavour you get, Some decent hops, but not very bitter, more about the Rye than anything else, but decent flavour. OK.

33cl bottle from Marks & Spencer, Camberley. A dark straw pour with the faintest haziness, a fast fading white head, and gentle carbonation; fruity aroma with some rye in the background; blackcurrant taste, with a sweet bready rye body; and a pleasant herbal bitterness that rounds things off nicely. Rather good.

330ml bottle from my local Marks & Sparks: poured into bright sunshine and a Leffe chalice on my patio on 15th June 2015. Slight haze to the body, white head and lacing. Pleasant bitterness to the hop front and aroma, herbal like in taste with the hops ruling the flavours mostly (I think) although the fruity feel could have come from the malts I suppose. I liked it, the sunny afternoon helped, as did the cheese and salted biscuits I had with the beer.

Cask @ Bier, Liverpool city centre. Clear pale gold with a small creamy head. Clearly strong, but not strong tasting with a smooth texture exemplified by its rye and pale malts in both its aroma and taste - exuding a light berry sweetness along the way.
