Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry. Thin pale malts, very modest sweetness. Hops are floral bitter with a trace of citric orange. Light semi dry finish. A bit muted.

Bottle at home in London - picked up in Liverpool. Pours perfectly clear gold, lightly effervescent, with a frothy white head. The nose has some berry notes, slight grape, grainy bread. Light-medium sweet flavor with lightly toasted pale malts, some citrusy hops, pine needles, hay, lime. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Somewhat crisp on the finish, with notes of biscuits, dry pale bread, slight pine, pithy citrus. Mild grassy bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite tasty overall.

Bottle at beer rebellion. It pours hazy golden with a small off white head. The nose is toasty, grain, spice, orange, tangerine, sherbet and orange sponge cake. The taste is crisp, bitter, doughy, grainy, orange peel, tangerine, grapefruit, sherbet and pine with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Crisp, orangey and rather drinkable.

Bottle, Londis, Penny Lane, Liverpool. Hazy amber pour with a lingering medium white head. Rather muted grainy aroma. Hops not being allowed to shine here and the bitterness is laboured. Drinkable but lacking any real oomph.
