750 mL bottle thanks to douglas88! 5/28/22. Victim of the great cellar disaster of 2022. Not holding that against the beer. Hazy rust. Aroma of caramel, grape, funk, lemon, oak, tannins. Taste is grape, lemony sour, oak. Tannins, plum. Lingering tartness. Nice. 19.6k!

Dullish brown, a bit of haze. There's a touch of balsamic, wood, maybe some dark fruit notes. Decently tart.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is fairly wire-like and vinous. Lots of grape notes with some moderate tannins. Some medium light oak notes with a red wine character. Some acidity with hints of citrus. Pours a murky, red color with an orange hue and a medium sized, fairly thin, slightly pink head that recedes fairly quickly to the edges and disappears. No lacing or legs. Flavor is also very grape and wine forward with a moderately strong acidity. Some light citrus notes. Moderate grape notes with some tannins from the skins. Light oak notes with a red wine character. Faint phenolic note. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent wine-like sour with a lot of grapefruit and barrel character. The acidity was a touch strong and sharp, but overall very nice.

Bottle courtesy of tkrjukoff. Pours hazy red with a small pinkish white head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissiapting. Smell is fruity with crackers, grape juice, lemon juice, hay, dry soil, barnyard and lemon zest. Taste is sour, fruity and tiny funky. mouthfeel is dry, tart, tiny astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is sour with tasty complex grape character, lemon juice, hay, dry soil, wood, barnyard and lemon zest. Simple and simply great. Highly drinkable despite the high ABV.

Draft - Strawberry and seeds. Pinkish red with a white head. Berry, vinous barrels and a bitterness I am not a fan off.
