We’ve used a combination of New Zealand and Australian hops in this Antipodean White IPA. Motueka, Ella and Southern Cross provide a super-juicy tropical fruit punch to this smooth and slightly spicy, hoppy wheat beer.

Bottle. Murky, grey orange. Hoppy aroma, grapes and light tea notes. Sweetish flavour with good hoppy bite. Malty, caramely, slightly earthy with orange and grapefruit. Lasting, juicy bitterness. Interesting with some character... but not entirely convincing.

Bottle at home, 06/03/16. Murky orange brown with a decent off white covering. Nose is light pine, tangerine, citric tinged straw, melon. Taste comprises orange pith, airy malts, crackers, lemon peel, red grapefruit, light bread dough, cantalouope melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi dyring close with earthy hop bitterness. Decent enough IPA.

Cloudy gold beer, decent cream colour head. Spicy tropical fruit nose. Palate is light, fairly dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Light malts, lightly sweet. Nice generic tropical fruits, hop spice and pine. Little chalky seltzer. Light hop spicy finish. Mild to medium bitter linger. A tad dry but tasty.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - golden pour with white head. Fruity and floral hoppy aroma and taste, some lemon and satsuma citrus, gooseberry, floral hoppy nuances throughout, light inn the palate, easy going number. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. A hazy dark golden beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt, citrus fruits, and hops. The flavor is malt, hay, herbs, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle. Mother Kelly’s Bottle Shop. Cloudy, dirty gold. Thin, messy, off white head. Smells better than it looks. Mostly resinous notes. Some peach and pineapple. Plenty of wheat. Taste is grainy, and wheaty sweet, turning juicy, resinous bitter. Juicy mouthfeel. Juicy and resinous finish. Nice, but lacking a bit of punch, maybe.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the brewery. Pours soupy gold with a dense, lasting off-white cream head. The nose has bready malts, some gooey ripe citrus, pine. Medium sweet flavor with fairly prominent ripe citrus fruit character, tangerine and orange, light piney bitterness, pale wheat bread. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish, a little warming, with more bready malts, hints of wheat, ripe and chewy orange, tangerine, some peach, melon and grapefruit. Nice and juicy. Drinks very easily.

Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home. Dirty cloudy gold lasting white head. Big tropical fruit aroma. Just a little caramel malt to act as a backbone. Quite fruity and hoppy on the finish. Grapefruit, tangerine, mango and quite bitter. Very decent fresh fruity hoppy ipa.
