Our first collaboration with Jensen Distillery in Bermondsey. A hugely refreshing beer with great depth, a long finish and a delicate juniper aroma.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s. It pours hazy pale gold with a small white head. The nose is fresh, floral, sweet, candied peel and plenty of nice Jensen gin action (big fan of their gin). The taste is crisp, bitter, lemon sherbet, orange peel, straw, mild spice, booze, gin and candied stuff with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Very nice gin/beer hybrid. Tasty. Quaffable.

Bottle from brewery and drunk at home. Pale gold lasting white head. Tasty light lemony saison. Some gin? Not really. Some botanicals, yes I see that. It’s enormously refreshing and utterly drinkable. Some peppery bitterness on the finish. Rather lovely.
