White oak is native to North America and typically contains a higher vanillin content than its European counterpart, which has a strong influence on the flavour of whatever comes into contact with it once it's made into barrels.

Our white oak is air-dried for 24 months before before it's made into casks and then charred to create a natural barrier between the spirit and the very heavy, virgin vanilla flavour that's locked within the grain of the wood. It's only at this point that our beer would come into contact with it either as a cask or as chips in our Oakerators®.

Malt: I & G ale malt, Malted Wheat & Lager Malt
Hops: Super Styrian & Fuggle

Maturations: Over bourbon-infused oak heartwood in our Oakerators®

Finishing Touch: Infused with dried bergamot and blood orange oil to create a fragrant and refreshing finish.

Bottle, 6.4%. Perfumy, soapy, apricot aroma. Almost clear golden colour. Big unstable white head. The flavour has a massive vanilla and oak note with a mild apricot winegum finish. A bit like candy, but not bad.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with stable white head. Clear aroma of barrel and vanilla, mwith notes of malt and fruit. Sweetish flavour of malt and vanilla, wit notes of yeast and barrel and touches of hops. Estery and barrellike afteraste. Well, drinkable and not unenjoyable, but yet again a specimen of Innis Gunn creativity taking over taste and decency.

Bottled. A golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, alcohol, and tea. The flavor is sweet with notes of tea, malt, and caramel, leading to a dry finish.

330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with average, thick, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Wheaty aroma with hints of banana and apple, a touch of bergamot and oak. Taste slightly sweet wheaty, slightly dry hoppy, hints of banana, a touch of bergamot and orange, oaky finish. Unusual, harmonious composition - slightly cautious overall.

Clear gold. Fresh malty aroma with no oak in it. Quite soft sweet taste like in lagers. With no oak again. So this beer smells and tastes like bottom-fermented beer, not like Ales should.
