Bottle from across the street from the brewery. Pale yellowish hazy, moderate head they was gone in a flash. Lightly banana, wheaty, a bit thin on the nose. Flavor is a bit overripe banana, cardboard, slightly thin body, oh I see it expires next week despite being bought yesterday. Not great considering I bought it 50 meters from the brewery. Might be ok if fresh.

Gold with a foaming, white head. Aroma promises bananas and bandages. Taste is moderate sweet with a touch of mineral bitterness at the end. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Workman-like with a few off-notes. Drinkable.

0.5L bottle pours out cloudy golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice sweet banana wheat notes and some spice. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts banana bread spice and some nice wheat.

Bottle picked up from Appel Getränkemarkt, Moosburg and consumed at home Tuesday 18th May 2021 we are cooking Asparagus and Meatball traybake for tea tonight. Listening to Tom Ravenscroft covering for Steve Lamaq on 6Music. Pours light to mid gold with large imposing white head, excellent clarity. Certainly banana on the nose, with a light spice and yeast and a little hay, almost a little meadow like (apart from the banana of course, unless it's a Caribbean meadow 😂). Soft mouthfeel, nice wheatiness throughout, a clean edge, light citrus. Good.

Bottle. Pale amber color, cloudy. Citrus, hints of banana and yeasty notes in both aroma and flavor. Carbonation is fairly soft for a weizen. Just enough flavor, just enough bite, but not outstanding.

Die im Mai 2014 präsentierte Braubursch'n Weiße ist eine Hommage an eine Brauerei, die heute nicht mehr existiert. Angeblich ist dies die Rezeptur des ehemaligen Bad Birnbacher Weißbräuhauses, das irgendwann von Graf Arco übernommen wurde. Gute Substanz und eher herb. Im Antrunk zunächst fast zu kräftig. Nach 2 - 3 Schlucken wird das ganze aber sehr harmonisch, weich und süffig. Recht fruchtige Noten kommen durch (insbesondere Zitronenschale und Aprikose fällt mir auf). Nicht spektakulär, aber ganz schlicht und einfach ein wirklich sehr gutes Weizen. Die dunkle Variante kann hier sogar noch mehr. Leider wurde die normale Graf Arco Weiße Hell und Dunkel zu Gunsten der neuen Braubursch'n Weiße eingestellt. Das ist sehr schade. Eine Koexistenz dieser wirklichen hervorragenden Weißbierlinien wäre sehr wünschenswert gewesen. Die Neuausrichtung ist eigentlich unnötig. Graf Arco hat immer schon gewusst, wie man gutes Weißbier braut.
