Bottle from Hoptimism. Hazy pale golden colour with a white head. Lemon herby aroma zesty and light tart. Medium crisp body.

Keg at Craft CG. It pours earthy, musty, tangy, gingerbeer, fragrant lemon, herbal, bay leaf, quite savoury and some clove rock. The tatse is dry, bitter, quite green, herbal, clove rock, lemon & ginger tea, warming alcohol, leather, spice, toasty grain, biscuit and hay. Medium body and fine carbonation Too much going on... A cacophony of herbs and spices. Doesn't come together in a cohesive manner in my opinion.

Keg at the craft beer Co Covent Garden. A light hazed golden coloured pour with a lasting off white. Aroma is weird vanilla, creme soda, wheat. Flavour is composed of sour, lacto, cream, coconut. Wheat. Milky lactose, straw. Palate is frothy, grains, frothy carbonation, Lingering hair spray.

Keg at CBC Cov G, 16/07/18. Lightly hazed orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is pissy citrics, herbal notes, grains, grass, lemon rind. Taste comprises dusty yeast esters, bay leaf, lemon drizzle, big herbal bite, pissy citrics, damp straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. I found this one a little hard going ... a touch raw and overly herbed.

KØLF 240217.Golden color with a white head. Aroma is citrus, yeast, malt. Flavor is orange zest, lemon, yeast, malt, citrus, spices. Easy drinkable and very good beer.

330 ml bottle from Kill the cat, London. Almost clear, pale golden body with a small white head. Aroma has fruit and spicy yeast with lemon, ginger and soap (coriander). Flavor has mild and balanced malt, spicy yeast, orange zest, lemon and hint of grapefruit. Well balanced in flavor, balanced body and smooth aftertaste. A very nice and refreshing Saison indeed.

Fra håndpumpe på The Craft Beer Co., Soho (London) mars-17: lett uklar gylden med ok skum. Oh yes - dette er gode greier for en fan av saison - krydret, citronfrisk og med rik aroma og smak. Superfriske greier, er det laurbærblad eller bergamot jeg kjenner i bakgrunnen?

Trübes hell goldgelbes Bier mit mittelgroßen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch nach Kräutern, Gewürze, zitronig, hefig. Geschmack mild nach Kräutern, Gewürze, hefig, hohe Karbonisation, gut.
