La Bonté is open fermented with our house Brettanomyces culture. This beer is then blended with a portion of Golden Sour and onto a half pound per gallon of Italian Plums. La Bonté is then aged in our foeder until it reaches perfection.

Bottle at Cotteridge Wines tasting room; hazy yellow pour with a thin off white head, aroma has some red fruits, citrus and some funk, taste has some funky brett, citrus, some red fruits, pineapple.

Draught @ Mikkeller & Friends, Stefansgade 35, DK-2200 Copenhagen N, Denmark. [ As Wicked Weed La Bonte - Plum ].Hazy matt medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, plums, wheat, baking yeast, tart, barnyard notes, brett notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration, tart, plum sweet, leather. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160203]

Bottle shared on Level 42 9/3/16. Many thanks to Matteo for this one. Translucent golden pinky orange coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is nice funky, brett, pineapple, plummy fruit, jammy. Flavour is composed of plum, peach, sour apple, wheat, grainy, light sour. Palate is spritzy carbonation, wheat, tangy, grainy. Pretty nice.

Bottle shared in London - cheers, team. Pours hazy gold with a creamy, white head. Good snout, peach, melon, sweat, funk. Light sweet flavor with moderate acidity, some juicy plum, lemon, white grape, pale bread. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Cleansing finish with sturdy acidity, more peach, plum, melon and lemon, and just a little funk. Good stuff.

Bottle at level 42. It pours golden - orange with a thick white head. The nose is fresh, juicy, tart, musty, plum skin, date, manure, funk, lemon peel and Granny Smith apple. The taste is crisp, juicy, tart, plum skin, shebert, light lactic vibe, straw and a touch of minerals with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Crisp, tart and refreshing.

Bottle split at the level 42 tasting, group score, 09/03/16. Hazed golden with a pinkish fleck, decent off white covering. Nose is pissy plum juice, straw, funk, tangy lemon, brett. Taste comprises funky overtones, stewed plums, musty wood, light brett, lemon drizzle, red grape pang. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a tarte fleshy fruit finale. Decent enough sour.
