Tap at Weißbräu Freising. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is lemony, hay, nice fresh character. Taste is the same, good lemony yeastiness, floral hops. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Very tasty!

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Says you can only get it on tap but looks like they bottled it. Light golden and slightly cloudy with a quickly dissipating white head. Sweet chewy malty aroma, bready and herbal, with light notes of lemon curd and honey. Sweet taste, lots more honey here, light citrus notes, more malt. Slightly bitter and even a touch of astringency on the finish. Medium body and carbonation. Very decent stuff.

Tap at the beer garden in Freising. Bright and cloudy yellow with a thick, low head. Doughy, worty nose with lemon, biscuits and herbs. Sweet honey and lemon flavor, malty, yeast, full body and soft carbonation. Hits the spot.

Second beer of a mini-tasting with myself on 22nd March 2024. 500ml bottle (5.6% ABV) from Beers of Europe: BB 8th November 2024. Poured into a glass mug, it's clear golden in colour with a decent snow white crown on top. Semi-sweet malty front, it's a lovely beer and is going down very well with some strong Cheddar Cheese, Pickles and salty biscuits.

Appearance: foggy gold with a large white frothy head of good retention. Aroma: malt, hay, honey, floral notes. Taste: medium dry. Malt, honey, floral hop, grass, herbs. Light ending bitterness. Mouth feel: medium minus body, average carbonation. Summary: pretty pleasant.

Tap at Weissbräu Huber. Cloudy golden, off-white lace. Dry grassy hops on a chewy fruity juicy malt base. Dry moreish finish. Nice.

On tap at the Wirsthaus (Taphouse) in Freising and described as unfiltered Jägerbier so I guess that I am drinking the right thing. Had this Friday 22nd June 2019 with Loz and Isobel. Mid/dark gold with a light cloudiness and a good sized white head. Fruity but malty but also quite refreshing and with a light bitterness and lemon touch. I liked it.

On tap at Weissbräu Huber Freising. Trübes goldenes Bier mit mittelgroßen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch angenehm würzig hopfig, leicht getreidig. Geschmack mild hopfig, würzig, angenehme Bitterkeit, okay!
