The Yeastie Boys!!! you’re damn right we were exited when (over a drunken night) they agreed to come and throw in a collaboration with us!!

Drawing sweetness from a complex malt base but turning 360 with a vibrant mix of New Zealand & UK hops (with a handful of our favorite American hops in for good measure). A brown to both please and astound in body and flavour.

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is light, pretty dry and has good carbonation. Dry malts, mild roasty bitterness. Very light coffee. Light pine. Some fruits and a trace of floral bitterness. Dry finish shows modest red berries. Over dry and that brings it’s drinkability down.

Cask at The Grapes/Beerd, Oxford, Saturday 4th March 2017 in the company of John, Ian and Glen. Pours murky brown with a filmy white head. Tangy brown, really fruity and jolly hoppy, a lengthy linger mid bitterness. Really good. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6

Keg at Brewdog Shepherds Bush, during the tap takeover. A clear reddy copper coloured pour with a thin sticky beige head. Aroma is weird, musty mouldy wood, socks, oak and brown sugars. Flavour is composed of semi sweet nutty malts, brown sugars, grapey fruits, little woody oak. . Palate is semi sweet, little thin, woody finish. Ok. Bit weird.

Keg at BDSB - London. Pours lightly hazy brown with a creamy khaki head. Mellow aroma with light toasted brown bread, pine. Light to medium sweet flavour with notes of bunrt pine, maple, bitter chocolate, earth. Light bodied with moderate, massaging carbonation. Finishes with more earthy and piney bitterness, burnt sugars, molasses, berries. Not bad.
