On tap deep reddish brown with a brief wispy tan head. Rather drab deep caramel peaty roast flavors. Very low carbination and a damp earthy character. Nothing stands out and rather boring.

8th May 2015: in a flight of six at the excellent Brewhouse, San Juan Capistrano, Orange County, Caramel red body with a mild smokiness to the malty nose and flavours. Decent, but didn’t lift my kilt enough to score it uber highly.
