0.5 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, best before September 2025. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly malty and minimally floral aroma of grains, some straw and traces of honey. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly floral taste of grains, honey and nuts, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay, quite macro-ish.

Bottle from EDEKA Treugut on the Maybachufer in Berlin. Clear golden body, white head. Honeyish aroma, bit herbal and grainy. Alcohol in the honeyish, lean, sweetish, taste dry, bit herbal. Actually quite decent for what it is, lightly alcoholic but okay overall!

Feldschlößchen Maibock, Flasche. - Goldbraun, blank. Milder rezent, mastig; einigermaßen gut kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang matte, rauhe herbale Bittere. - Typischer Industrie-Bock von recht billiger, rauher Anmutung. Nur knapp genießbar. (8.5.2022.)

500ml bottle. Opalescent, orange golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, minimally starchy, pale malty aroma, hints of honey, a light fuity touch of overripe pear. Taste is sweet-ish and bitter, minimally starchy, pale malty, minimally papery hoppy, diluted hints of honey, a touch of carboard; lingering, bitter, almost a bit chalky and minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Relatively clean, neither too sweet nor overly starchy but in parts with an unpleasant kind of bitterness - meh!

500 ml bottle. Pours clear dark golden with a big fluffy head. Dry citrus, grassy hops, malty caramel notes, vanilla, light booze. Dry hoppy bitterness, malty caramelly sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, dry bittersweet boozy finish. Lovely Maibock, really smooth, even dangerous to drink.

Bottle picked up from Appel Getränkemarkt Moosburg and consumed at home. Had this Wednesday 28th April 2021 in evening after a cycle to Haindfling to get milk, listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session on 6Music. Pours copper in colour, excellent clarity, white head, looks magnificent. Good Maibock, hitting the right notes from a malt perspective, light hoppiness and bitterness, caramel and toffee overtones. Nice.
