Bottle split at Columbus, thanks to Kenny, 31/07/19. Lightly hazed golden amber with a creamy white cap. Nose is caramel, fruit cake, nutty, sweet malts, brown bread, sugars. Taste comprises mellow bourbon, caramel, dried fruits, dates, prunes, spice, rye barrel notes. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol and a lingering barrel effect. Decent but perhaps a little tired.

Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Notable alcohol in the finish, some bitter pine, toasted malts, dried caramel. Not bad overall.
