330ml bottle. Minimally milky, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, creamy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, snow white head. Slightly grainy and minimally spicy, pale malty, minimally yeasty fruity and grassy hoppy aroma, hints of mirabelle. Taste is minimally spicy and grainy, pale malty with low residual sweetness, minimally yeasty fruity and mildly bitter, slightly grassy hoppy, minimally diluted hints of mirabelle, a touch of protein, minimally metallic overtones.
Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
Decent composition, sadly rather thin, watery and cautious overall - OK.

0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before July 2025. A bit hazy, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity-floral aroma of grains, some straw and hints of lemon peel. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently grassy-spicy and a little fruity-floral taste of grains, straw, light lemon peel and traces of honey, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent lager.

Bottle from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Nicely grainy aroma with straw, bread, bittering hops. Light sweetish, moderate bitter. Body is medium. Lovely grainy Lager.

Im Glas hellgoldgelb und zart glänzend trüb mit grünlich-gelben Reflexen. Der weiße, feinporige Schaum hält dabei hervorragend. Der Duft zeigt sich sehr angenehm, leicht staubig-spelzig-getreidig, aber auch süßlich malzig mit einem schönen Anklang von Akazienhonig. Der Antrunk kommt frisch, weichrezent und schön getreidig. Am Gaumen setzt sich diese Getreidigkeit fort und eine schöne, vollmundige Malzaromatik macht sich breit. Der Hopfen spielt bei diesem Bier kaum eine Rolle und blitzt maximal ein wenig aus dem hintergrund hervor. So ergibt sich ein schönes, sehr typisch bayerisch malzbetontes Zwickl, welches mit seiner unkomplizierten, aber überaus harmonischen Art brilliert. Im Nachtrunk wirkt der Malzkörper schön nach und die Honignote, die man bereits in der Nase vernommen hat, kommt wieder sehr gut zum Vorschein. Mein Fazit: Ein richtig gutes Bier für viele Lebenslagen. Funktioniert als rascher Durstlöscher genauso wie als Belohnungsbier nach der Arbeit, taugt aber auch als vielfältiger Speisebegleiter.

On tap at GBBF 2023. Hazy pale gold colour lasting white head. Decent unfiltered lager. Rather tasty. Some long flavour. Some good character Clean if still unfiltered. Likeable. Light cold.

Pale gold with a frothy, white head. Mild floral and grass aroma with a touch of lemon peel. Taste is moderate herbal bitter with a touch of tartness at the finish. Light bodied, moderate watery texture, moderate carbonation. Drinkable.

330 ml bottle. Cloudy orange with a fluffy head. Mellow malt, hay, grain and bread notes, some citrus. Malty grainy sweetness with a light dryness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, mild dry grainy bready finish. Decent, mild Kellerbier.
