Bottle, Chester Beer & Wine. Hazy yellow purrr with a generous white head. Nose was yeasty, with malt and citrus notes. Flavour was similarly yeast driven with a little spice and citrus. Dry bitter finish. Not the finest hour from Struise, but it grew on me. Bit like my belly.

Very hazy gold beer, little white head. Palate is crispy and a little dry. Bretty start, quite strong. Mild orange - lemon citrus underneath. Then dry seltzer and brett minerals dominate. Dry finish.

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Hazy golden yellow colour, fluffy white head. Aroma of straw, yeast, dry pale malts, lemon. Flavour is yeast-dominated, a bit of dead yeast/plastic, nice dry and floral malty, a little lemon, dry bitter finish. Light-bodied. Gets better and gains more depth with every sip. Nice.

At de kelk bruges pours light hazy blonde , small white foam Smell is very saison-ish , almost fantome ! Taste is more of the saisonish.. Wtf ? I thought the cartoon series were single hop ipas ? Guess i was wrong ! I get hay , honey , higher carbo than usual struise ? Freshness, drinkable . Meh...

Bottle. Citrus, light peach aroma with dry yeast notes. Light hazy golden, fine carbonation, low white head. Fresh lemongrass in the flavor, peach, orangepeel. Sparkly, dry on the palate, chewy. Pleasent, perfectly sessionable.

Yellowish head, bit fluffy, over faintly veiled golden beer. Very fruity nose, pineapple, peach, lavender. More lavender, rosemary and ginger in the taste, with fruity-neutral background, maybe slightly bitterish finish. Light body, well-carbonated, long-lasting spiciness. If there’s no lavender in this, what is this for yeast?? French Saison....?

33cl bottle, bbe 11/2014. Hazy orange, thin head. Spicy, clove mostly, light sour and yeaty aroma. Flavor similar. Light. Bodied. Too spicy to be really enjoyable. Dry, light bitter finish.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 30.11.2014, courtesy of rosenbergh, 20121208) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had a lot of clove and mildly fruitiness in the background. Palate was medium bodied with quite high carbonation. Flavours were sourness, clove, fruitiness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy and bitter. Spiciness was too strong.

33 cl bottle @ home. Clear, golden blond color. Firm, dense white head, good lacing. Aroma’s: sweet spices, lemon, sour & sweet fruit, a bit funky retronasal. Flavor is mildly fruity sour with a touch of bitterness. Light bodied. Strangely enough there is some sweetness in the finish, with a mild bitterness. Not bad.

Purchased at de Bier Tempel in Brussels, BE; enjoyed at my hotel room prior to eating at the Saint Georg in Eppingen, DE. I will say that this bottle art is fantastic and was the primary reason why I chose this beer. Appearance is a cloudy pale gold with a thin white head with tiny bubbles that lightly lace to the glass. Aroma of apparent Belgian yeast with a banana like aroma, I’m reading \"baked apple\" in a previous rating which I think is a good description, almost like a baked apple pie. It’s soft but pleasant. Taste is decent, it’s a bit more subdued version of the aroma, with a plentiful yeast backing and a moderate sweetness. I like it, but I’m not blown away. Decent stuff.
