Our 1936 lager is brewed with the softest water sourced within the Swiss Alps. This golden lager obtains its refreshing taste from beautiful Swiss hops & pilsner malt. 1936 is a ultra clean, crisp, fresh lager with a slight sweetness. The water used to brew 1936 Bière filters through the Swiss Alps, taking up to 25 years to reach the source. This unique water is combined with raw ingredients - Swiss hops and golden barley grown at high altitude on the mountains - to create a beer totally free from artificial preservatives or additives. Long famous for its innovative prowess in the development of new beers, the 1936 Bière brewery also leads in the field of climate protection.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear gold, nice lasting small white head. Aroma is grainy creamy malts, semi-sweet. Taste is sweet malts, grain, clean, grassy bitterness which is long lasting but doesn't make for a crisp finish. OK body but carbonation a little light for a lager, lacks some zing. Average.

0,34ø3 flaske fra Amathea Muswell Hill, delt med Steven hos ham: klar lys gylden med fint skum som varer. Behagelig fruktig syrlighet med litt gress og urter. God maltsmak og fin bitterhet.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. 4.6% Pours clear yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light malt and bread. Light spice. Taste is more of the same. Clean finish.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe; BB 15th Jan 2021. Poured at home on 12th Jun 2020. Nice easy going Pils, bright golden body, white crown on top. Clean and refreshing with hints of malts in the nose and a mini hop bitterness to the taste.
