In honour of Joe’s passion for cider, this authentic dry cider is his favourite tipple and has been a mainstay in the range since the beginning. This traditional scrumpy tasting cider, with a spiced apple aroma, packs a bold rounded flavour with subtle hints of lemon zest.

Bottled by lowcostbeer.com. Light cloudy gold, looks still, no bubbles. Tangy apple juice aroma, with light funkiness. Taste of apple juice and skins, moderate vinegar note and sharpness, wood, drying finish. Slick medium body. Good.

500ml bottle. Yellow golden colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of tart apple. Taste is mellow apple, solventy with notes of vinegar, rubber and some drying tannin. Oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation, dry tannic finish. Quite OK.

From a bag in a box at the Stable, Bristol 8/8/2013. Slightly hazy gold with a few bubbles of carbonation. Plenty of dry apple fruit, a hint of wood and tart finish. Drinkable stuff.

Bag in Box at Camp Bestival, Lulworth Castle. Brilliantly fresh apple aroma.. taste is an intriguing one, the desert apple sweetness combining with a certain dryness lining the mouth. Decent cider worth another pint.

Bag in a box @ The Castle Inn, West Lulworth - The permanent Dorset Cider Festival. Practically clear golden body with no head. Aroma is clean apple core and slightly acidic. Flavor is crisp, clean apple, apple core and quite dry. Medium body, dry aftertaste. Nice and refreshing.
