Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 24th August 2019. Clear gold with no foam or lace. Caramel malt and rusty metallic aroma. A slight fishy hint. Scratchy throat bitterness and caramel malt dominate the liquid pass, a plain, malty, rusty finish. Watery, somewhat flat texture.

16th June 2018, hand-pulled cask pint at The Pheasant Inn, Wellington Shropshire. Light golden/straw blonde body, clean and clear; on top a snow white blanket of tight bubbles. Nice enough summer beer, hop forward with a decent malty base, subtle rather than in your face aromas and flavours, but a good thirst quencher.
